TAUT1 Transporter Assay (SLC6A6)

TAUT1 is a taurine transporter. It is widely expressed in many tissues including the blood-brain barrier, retina, liver, kidney, heart, spleen and pancreas. It plays an important role in taurine absorption, osmotic balance, bile acid homestasis and muscle tone.
