PEPT2 Transporter Assay (SLC15A2)

PEPT2 is a high affinity, low capacity transporter that is encoded by the SLC15A2 gene. It is expressed in the apical membrane of the kidney and the choroid plexus. It facilitates renal reabsorption and distribution into the choroid plexus for substrates.
