MATE1 Transporter Assay (SLC47A1)

The MATE1 transporter is the multidrug and toxin extrusion transporter that is encoded by the SLC47A1 gene. MATE1 is expressed in the apical membrane in the kidney and liver and can mediate elimination of substrates.
